Lukas Lorenzo Hill

Lukas Lorenzo Hill is a 2016 graduate of Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, GA. He was voted by his class “Most Likely to Succeed”, promoted to Squad Leader for JROTC, nominated for the Faculty Cup Award, recognized and received Outstanding Achievement Navy League Youth Award and also received the Theodore Roosevelt Youth Medal for Outstanding Performance of Duty.

Lukas was a Mentee for 5 years and a 2016 graduate of 100 Black Men South Metro Rights of Passage program. Lukas gave an outstanding Mentee Reflection at the Celebration of Excellence Scholarship Dinner. Lukas is a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist church in Atlanta, GA.

In his presence, you see greatness. In his handshake, you feel power. In his communication, you hear a young man that was born to be great…born to be a Leader! Lukas will join the United States Marine Corps in the fall of 2016. Starting out he plans to become a Military Police Officer, but his ultimate goal is to become Sergeant Major.

Having a daily relationship with Jesus Christ encourages Lukas to follow his dreams, no matter how difficult they may be, he continues to stand strong. On two occasions, one recently, Lukas completed a series of strenuous boot camp trainings at Parris Island, South Carolina.

Lukas has many goals and aspirations to fulfill in his lifetime. He continues to put God first and trusts God completely knowing that God will never leave him, nor forsake him.
